WELCOME TO LOST TREE VILLAGE

The property was first discovered by its developer, E. Llwyd Ecclestone Sr. in 1945 while on a bicycle ride from his seasonal home in Palm Beach.  Ecclestone felt that the combination of the pristine coastline and the natural beauty of the land located between John D. McArthur Park and the exclusive Seminole Golf Club, made this particular property second to none.  The name “Lost Tree” was thought to be fitting for this area known for its special heritage of the disappearing gumbo-limbo trees.  It aptly embodies the rare mystique of a Village that is clearly unparalleled in its setting.

The golf course has a history that is as unique as that of the community.  Created by golf architect Mark Mahannah, it is considered one of the finest and most scenically beautiful golf courses in Florida.  During the early 1960’s fifty of the nation’s top professional golfers were asked to submit designs depicting their favorite golf holes.  Many of those ideas were used by Mr. Mahannah when he created the course.

In 2002, longtime resident, Jack Nicklaus was tapped to lend his expertise to the complete renovation of the golf course including installation of a state of the art irrigation system. The unique lovely terrain of the Lost Tree golf course is impeccably maintained twelve months a year.

In addition to the championship golf course, Lost Tree Village offers a wonderful tennis program featuring meticulously tended clay tennis courts, with Hydrocourt RockPile sub-surface watering system that makes for more consistent playing conditions.  The tennis pro shop is located in the recently built Beach House, which is also the lifeblood of Lost Tree’s active beach activities; casual dining, beautiful outdoor bar and pool area, along with the gorgeous beach.

Lost Tree Marina

Set in Lost Tree’s sprawling four hundred and fifty acres, homes have been carefully built with a concern for quality, detail and aesthetic placement.  Lovely oceanfront residences are located high upon the dune, offering unmatched views of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean.  Beautiful homes border the golf course, providing spectacular views of not only the golf course, but also inland lakes, which abound with natural mangroves and wildlife.  Homes located on Lake Worth offer the opportunity for deep-water private boat docks.  The Golf Cottages are conveniently located near the Golf Club and offer views of the golf course or Little Lake Worth.
